Singaporeans are LOSING our home country soon!!

Looking at the news online about how a PRC family complained about their Indian neighbour cooking curry and managed to get them to not cook when they are not at home... we Singaporeans are doomed to lose our home country.... Singapore will not be know as Singapore for long.
I think we will be known as Interpore or Chinapore in future.

Even the semi government, CMC are siding the PRCs, where is our place in Singapore.... In the past, pple laments that they are not born in Singpaore due to her stability and stable government, Now we Singaporeans LAMENTs being born a Singaporean for we have no standing even in our own home contry. What bullshit is that in the theme in this year's National Day Parade.... All bullshit....
What is all this talk about calling all SIngaporean to move forward.... I think the government is asking all Singaporeans to move out to give space to Foreigners so they can bring Interpore to greater heights.
Pause to reflect what the Singapore Spirit is..... the spirit for Singaporeans is to change our way of living and adopt those of the FT..... The old saying of Do what the Romans do when in Rome does not apply here..... here is Singapore is Do what the 'invaders' do when in Singapore.

kuai (Hokkien for obedient) as to become a Sparta. This is our saving
grace. As a young senior citizen, I very much hope that Singapore will
survive for a long time, but as an Athens. It is more interesting and worth
living and dying for.

Avalon Detox & Yoga

Tried it for almost a week now. Am starting to see some effects. Am able to wake up and step on my feet without the feeling of pain. The kind of pain in which one gets when the feet is swollen.

*yawn* *yawn* *stretch* took my first Bikram yoga again after a rest period of almost a year. gosh, it seems to be tougher than i remember.... guess my body is really too tensed and stiff. worse than before. but then again... I'm going to go for regular classes till the condition improves and flexibity returns..all the bending and stretching today really helps, worked those sleeping body areas of mine.

breastfeeding really helps to burn off the calories. noticed that i am starting to gain weight again... ergghh... and this is almost as soon as i stop to BF exclusively...control control.... have to control my diet or start exercising (that's y i'm going for yoga classes) else i will be a fat pig once again.

think i am facing mid life crisis now. life seems unfuilining... just day aft day... work is so mundane and boring no fun at all.... am really not suited to desk bound job. it seems to be making me stupid and less brain productive.

mind is not as active and agile as before.... what if i start getting dementia in the next 2 - 3 yrs.... better start doing something to ge the brain working again...

i still have my darlings to think of..... jeez....

Went for dinner with colleagues last evening. went to shiu yakiniku. sat opp Mr Kuah and noticed this logo on his shirt.

it looks very familiar and like one of the petrol company in singapore.

but it is not.... it in fact is a popular shoe brand in singapore which also do apparaels. It is Converse and not Caltex as i thought it to be....

Mr Kuah was so upset with me for not getting the logo right. That shirt was supposed to make him a hip uncle and not a cheapo auntie..... haha....

Sorry Mr Kuah, will be more observant and careful the next time round... :)

It's the winter olympics once again... and once again I missed watching the only winter olympics event i like - Figure skating.

I have no idea why i like figure skating. Perhaps it is because it is so like Ballet. With all the jumps, spins and grace. It is a great feeling to dance. To jump and piroutte across the stage.

It's been a while sinced i last danced. Am missing Miss Chien and everyone else in class - pple like xin yi, angeline, li meng and the rest....am thinking when will NYB or ABT come over to perform. I would like so much to watch their dancers dance. dancers like Paloma, Julie Kent and gillian murphy. sign why will they not come to singapore. If they don't come in the next 2 yrs, then I will fly over to watch them and at the same time plan a long trip there hahaa......

well i guess i am kinda slow to catch up on this only on. Previously I was caught up with the Dan Brown various books.

Now is this vampire - human love story. I always have a liking towards such stories : mystery, supernatural - vampires / dragons etc -, problem solving (detective?)

it's raining heavily once again in jurong.... actually it has been like this the whole afternoon. heavy downpour for 10 mins, stop for 30mins and then the cycle starts again.....

it's like the angels are pouring their washing water down as n when their pails are full. they are spring cleaning heaven also hahaha.

this new set was done by the nail salon in ION Orchard.

and this is done by Clara of Petit Nail Diary.

The photo for the 2nd set was taken 2 - 3 weeks after it was done. See the difference between the 2 sets.... and the first set is more expensive than the 2nd loh. sob sob.... i should have just stick with Clara to do the nail art for my nails. The ribbons are all done from scratch with acrylic powder....Clara... I will only let you do my nails in future....

Jigsaw Puzzles!!!

Have fun with this puzzle.....
i fell in love with doing puzzles when i was in my teens. I would pester my mum to buy puzzles for me and then work on it thru the night. I guess it is the satisfaction of completing something. I like to work on crafts. Puzzles, cross stitch, knitting etc. I think the next few puzzles I want to work on would be places i want to travel to. That would be nice isn't it. Displaying them up or perhaps i can work on pictures of the places that I have been to. Afterall that will be a better momento than a simple picture. ya that should be the target. I will aim to take some nice excellent pictures and then transform them into puzzles, work on them and frame it up. SO when new year comes, my guest will then be able to look at them. Yippee!!!

In the meantime, have fun....

Incompetent Nokia staff and Comtemptible Brand : Nokia

irritating, inefficient Nokia. The brand Nokia is totally dying in my world..... i am so pissed with their current phones, after sales service and customer service. wonder where they get their staff. incompetent fellows. customer service staff are the ones who interact with your customers, shouldn't Nokia pay more to ensure that these staff are people with calibre....now whenever i send my phone to the care centre, i am thinking, how long will the service take this time round. the 2nd time i sent in my phone - Musix Xpress 5610 - to the care centre, it took them amost a month to send my phone back to me. and this is only after i called them daily from the 2nd week onwards. i, the customer has to chase the centre for my phone while they being the provider and should be providing good customer service, did not call me when my phone is not ready for collection. hence a wasted trip on my side. and i did not even went down on the day they indicate on my service sheet, it was a day later. so i received neither the call to inform of the delay nor a call to tell me what is wrong with my phone, no replacement phone and no reply when i called to complain. the website is also shit. cos when i logged in my complaint via that, there was no response either in email or phone. nothing was done on their side. damn Nokia to the drain.

now i have really decided that no matter what, i will not buy a Nokia phone in future again. i gave them far too many chances and they blew it up right in their face. now this is the 3rd time i sent in my phone. no date was given to me on when i can collect. so i am blindly waiting and when i called them, the 1st customer service personnel who took my call gave me the wrong information saying that my phone was ready for collection. when i probed further as in when was the phone ready for collection and why was i not informed, he then panicked and realised that he has gave me the wrong information. then he kept asking me for the job number when i told me the very first time that i do not havw the job number with me right now. guess what was his reply. he said " in that case, u can call back again when you have the job number. cos without the job number, i cannot do a search for you". so i got pissed and said that i am currently at work and does he expect me to go home and get the number for him?" perhaps he realised that he should not have said that, so he said that it is not because he dun want to check but because he cannot check as their system was down. i was thinking, then you should have said so earlier and say that you will call me back after you have done a check once the system is up. nope he did nothing of that. ver bacd customer service.
but the 2nd guy was worse. i got upset when the 1st guy did not call me back so i called them again. this time round, that customer service personnel was worse. also asked for job number when i told him that i do not have it. he went on to check with my IC number then after checking he says that it is not ready blah blah blah.... then when i replied and he might have sensed that i am angry and will not give him e good rating for the survey, he actually went on to say"ok, thank you, goodbye" and hang up. that was when i was still talking and he did not even transfer me to the phone survey, which means he actually hang up to avoid the survey.

today i called them again after a week. no news of my phone still though it was in the final stage of testing since i last called them. this time round, the guy was kinda helpful and assisted me to find the information, but was unable to give me tha names of the previous 2 pax who answered my call. for i lost one of their names. in any case, he said that he will escalate the status of my phone and that one of the staff either from the care centre or the HQ's care centre will call me back within 24 - 48hrs, so i will wait and see whether they call me. i also got him to put up 2 complains to the 2 guys who answered my call previously and also asked that their customer service manager call me to update me on the action taken on that 2 guys. i will wait and see if they call me within the next 24 - 48 hrs. if they dun, well, i will be giving them free publicity via the media whether they like it or not.
